Highway Missions International is one of the many expressions of Highways Sanctuary International. It's a faith-based, non-denominational, non-profit organisation focused on missions. For over two decades, it has been at the forefront of rural and urban evangelistic outreach, medical missions, and social empowerment. The vision of Highway Missions International, inspired by Matthew 22:9 and birthed in the heart of its President, Pastor Joseph Olajimi, has motivated its team to traverse land and sea, crossing territorial borders since its inception.
Highway Missions International was commissioned based on Matthew 22:9.

As a mission organisation, we're commissioned to go to the highways—symbolising every place and walk of life where people can be found.
Since our inception, we've reached over 2,000 communities across Nigeria's South-South, South-West, and South-East regions. We've interacted with people from various backgrounds, including students, artisans, professionals, traders, market men and women, religious organizations, trade unions, and associations.
True to our commission, we engage with as many as we find "in the highways" during our outreaches. We don't practice religious bigotry, racial discrimination, tribal sentiment, denominational preferences, or any form of partiality. Our outreach extends to all people in all places we visit.
The principal goal of our organization is to 'bid' people 'to the marriage'—to bring them into thriving relationships with Jesus. Our outreaches are strategic means to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, demonstrate His goodness and love, and raise a generation of transformed individuals. These objectives are aptly captured in our Mission and Vision Statements highlighted below:
